Premier League duo Burnley and Southampton are leading the chase for Birmingham City’s 14-goal Championship forward Che Adams.

Burnley have had a second bid for Birmingham City striker Che Adams rejected but are still favourites to sign the 22-year-old before the January transfer window slams shut this evening, according to Sky Sports.
Adams has been a revelation for Garry Monk’s Blues this season, scoring 14 goals in his most prolific league campaign to date.
Burnley and Southampton have emerged as the two front-runners for Adam’s signature in recent days with The Mirror claiming that The Saints’ have seen an £8 million bid rejected.
And, with Birmingham standing firm on the future of their star man, Sky Sports is now claiming that Burnley have also seen their second offer for the former Sheffield United youngster turned down.

Sky does add that Burnley are the favourites to sign Adams if he does indeed leave St Andrew’s, however. The Clarets could offer to loan him back to Birmingham for the rest of this season in an attempt to sweeten the deal.
The Mirror claim that Adams is valued at around £15 million after completing his transformation from a winger into a lethal centre-forward.
