The Southampton goalkeeper’s services could be put to use by Burnley.

Burnley have enquired about signing Southampton’s Fraser Forster, according to the Sun.
The newspaper claims Burnley could be without first choice goalkeeper Nick Pope for up to six months with a dislocated shoulder, with Southampton said to be weighing up the 30-year-old’s exit – either permanently or on loan – after adding Angus Gunn to their options between the sticks.
Gunn is expected to compete with Alex McCarthy, the man who ousted Forster at the end of last year and recently signed a new long-term contract at St Mary’s.
And with Burnley’s Tom Heaton also struggling for fitness, Forster’s chances of playing regular football would appear to be greater at Turf Moor.

The former Celtic man initially impressed after £10 million move to Southampton four years ago, earning six caps for England, and was rewarded with a new deal – worth £65,000 a week, according to the Sun – as recently as December 2017.
Would Southampton’s Forster be a good addition for Burnley?
