Burnley have identified Mark Hughes and Bristol City boss Lee Johnson as possible replacements for Sean Dyche this summer, according to The Mail.

After eight years, two promotions, one Championship title and even the most unexpected of European sojourns, Dyche’s future at Turf Moor appears to be in more doubt than ever before.
If rumours are to be believed, there is a growing chasm between the gravel-voiced gaffer and chairman Mike Garlick.
The ill-feeling seemed to have something to do with the fact that many of Dyche’s most experienced players had not been handed new contracts. And, this week, it was confirmed that Jeff Hendrick, Aaron Lennon and Joe Hart would be leaving imminently.
According to The Mail, Burnley have even taken to identifying two potential successors should Dyche depart – Johnson and Hughes.
While the latter is a veteran of the Premier League, taking charge of Blackburn, Manchester City, Fulham, QPR, Stoke and Southampton in the top-flight, the former has never coached above Championship level.
But Johnson has a fine track record when it comes to making teams greater than the sum of their parts, with Bristol City continuing to overachieve in perhaps Europe’s most competitive division.
On paper, then, he’d be a good fit for a club with Burnley’s ambitious and means.
