The Burnley and Derby County strikers could be about to exchange clubs.

Burnley and Derby County are in talks over a deal that would see strikers Matej Vydra and Nahki Wells swap clubs, according to Sky Sports’ live blog (Tuesday 7th August, 15:30).
The report claims Derby’s Vydra and Burnley’s Wells will undergo medicals with their prospective new clubs on Tuesday, with the deals permanent and temporary, respectively.
The Daily Mirror reported on Monday evening that a switch to Burnley was close for Vydra, who top scored with 22 goals in last season’s Championship.
Wells, meanwhile, endured a difficult first season at Turf Moor, only playing 46 minutes of Premier League football following a £5 million transfer from Huddersfield Town.

It remains to be seen whether a deal for Wells would impact Derby’s proposed signing of Ipswich Town striker Martyn Waghorn.
Vydra is already one of six senior strikers on the Rams’ books, alongside Jack Marriott, David Nugent, Cameron Jerome, Chris Martin and Nick Blackman.
