Burnley are reportedly hoping to land Filip Kostic.

According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Burnley are already plotting a new January move for Hamburg winger Filip Kostic having failed on deadline day.
The Clarets took a while to get going in the summer transfer window, but enjoyed a late flurry of activity saw them land Joe Hart, Ben Gibson and Matej Vydra to boost Sean Dyche’s squad.
However, manager Dyche wasn’t able to bring in a winger on deadline day, and reports are now emerging about his target – and a player the Clarets may come back for in January.
The Lancashire Telegraph report that Burnley wanted to land Hamburg wide man Filip Kostic on deadline day, despite knowing that he was available for a cut-price fee having suffered relegation from the Bundesliga.
It’s added that Burnley are already planning to make a new attempt to sign Kostic once the January transfer window opens, and hope he doesn’t join one of Fiorentina, Valencia or Wolfsburg before the end of the month.
The transfer window still being open in Europe leaves Burnley open to losing out on Kostic, and Dyche will be hoping that the Serbian remains with Hamburg until January.

Kostic, 25, starred with Groningen and Stuttgart before heading to Hamburg in 2016, and the pacey left-footed winger notched five goals and one assist last season.
Kostic featured for Serbia at the World Cup in Russia this summer, and Burnley will now hope that they can secure his signature in January, with an attempt to strike an agreement well in advance of the new year possible.
