Sean Dyche has reportedly added Newcastle ace Matt Ritchie to his shortlist.

Premier League high-flyers Burnley have added Newcastle United winger Matt Ritchie to their shortlist, according to the Daily Mail, as Sean Dyche looks to add width to his squad.
The 28-year-old wide man is just one name on a four-man list complied by Burnley boss Dyche, along with Everton’s Aaron Lennon, West Bromwich Albion’s James McClean and Kilmarnock ace Jordan Jones.

The Lancashire club are desperate to add a new winger to their side following the season-long injury to Robbie Brady, who himself only moved to Turf Moor in January 2017.
The report claims Newcastle could sell the former Bournemouth star for one reason – if Rafa Benitez is unable to raise enough funds, with Amanda Staveley’s PCP Capital Partners yet to complete a takeover of Mike Ashley’s Toon.

It remains to be seen how much Newcastle will charge for 15-time Scotland international Ritchie, though, with four years remaining on his contract at St. James’ Park and the versatile midfielder costing the Toon £12million in the summer of 2016.
Ritchie will have caught the eye of Dyche this season with a number of creative performances, developing the reputation of an assist machine from out wide with Newcastle. He has supplied six assists in 21 Premier League matches.
