Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce reportedly wants three more signings this month.
According to The Mirror, Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce will be given £25million to spend on new signings this month – and wants three more signings after landing Sam Johnstone.
Bruce made his first signing as Villa manager earlier today, as Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone joined the club on loan until the end of the season, arriving to compete with summer signing Pierluigi Gollini.

With Villa lying seven points off the Championship play-off places, Bruce may need more additions – and it seems that he has his eyes on three more signings.
The Mirror reported on Wednesday evening that Bruce wanted a goalkeeper – which he has now landed in Johnstone – as well as a right back, left winger and another striker, and he’ll backed in the market to the tune of £25million by owner Tony Xia

Summer signing Ritchie De Laet joined the club from Leicester City to solve Villa’s right back woes, but he’s out with a season-ending injury sustained in September, whilst Alan Hutton hasn’t convinced this summer.
On the left of midfield, the likes of Jack Grealish and Jordan Ayew have featured there, but Bruce may want a more natural fit, with his former Hull ace Robbie Brady linked with a reunion.
Finally, in attack, Villa let Rudy Gestede join Middlesbrough earlier this week, and with Jordan Ayew and Jonathan Kodjia heading to the Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana and Ivory Coast respectively, another striker may be needed.
One position not mentioned was central midfield, but the Daily Mail believe a deal for Nottingham Forest playmaker Henri Lansbury is on the verge of completion, in a move which will cost £3million.
