Joelinton is set to start in Newcastle United’s first Premier League game after the restart, according to the Northern Echo.
Newcastle are due to take on Sheffield United on Sunday, and it is Joelinton who will be picked to start up top.
The Brazilian striker has scored twice in Newcastle’s build-up games, and the hope is that he can carry that momentum into the league season.
Prior to the break Dwight Gayle had been starting up-front for the Magpies, with Joelinton struggling to find the back of the net in his first season in England.

However, Gayle has once again picked up an injury which is set to keep him out.
Gayle has missed much of the campaign on the treatment table, and the £10 million forward (ESPN) now has a calf issue.
The Northern Echo claims that Bruce is also set to pick Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron to take his side’s attacking spots.
Newcastle are currently in 13th place in the Premier League table, eight points clear of the drop zone.
