Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is hoping to hold a conversation with Danny Rose over his comments this week, according to the Times.
The Newcastle loanee spoke out against the Premier League’s plan to return to action on Instagram on Monday, when he suggested in no uncertain terms that he was highly concerned about the safety of players.
But Bruce wants to move to reassure Rose that Newcastle’s players will be given the best conditions to work in, with the club doing everything they can to minimise the risks of coming back to training.
Newcastle are set to return to training on Monday, as the Premier League looks to get back underway in June.

Staff inside of Newcastle are not annoyed with Rose for coming out with such headline-making comments, but they do want to assure him that his worries don’t need to be so severe.
Bruce and Newcastle’s club doctor, Paul Catterson, are now planning to hold talks with the England international before the end of the week to try and ease his fears.
If the Premier League does restart, Newcastle do not appear to have too much to play for.
Bruce’s side are currently in a comfortable mid-table spot, and they appear to be well clear of relegation trouble, without being able to climb into European contention.
