Aston Villa have been linked with a move for Eldin Jakupovic.
According to today’s edition of The Mirror, as reported by Sky Sports, Aston Villa are interested in signing Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic.
Villa’s new manager Steve Bruce has enjoyed a superb start to life at Villa Park, claiming three wins and two draws in his first five games in charge.

Now just five points off a play-off place, Villa will be hoping to break into the top six and win an immediate return to the Premier League – and Bruce will be looking to bring in January signings to help his cause.
With that in mind, Sky Sports report that, in today’s edition of The Mirror, Villa were linked with a move for Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic as a possible January target.
Hull’s Eldin Jakupovic
Jakupovic, 32, joined Hull as a free agent back in March 2012, and has mostly served as Hull’s goalkeeping cover, making just 33 appearances for the club in almost five years at the KCOM Stadium.
The Swiss stopper had a spell in the Hull first team earlier this season, but is now behind David Marshall in the pecking order, and could slip to third choice once Allan McGregor is back from injury.

That could open the door to a move, and it’s claimed that Villa boss Bruce wants to reunite with Jakupovic at Villa Park in January to boost his goalkeeping options.
Young Italian Pierluigi Gollini has endured some ups and downs at Villa so far, whilst Mark Bunn hasn’t covered himself in glory when given a chance, meaning that landing a veteran stopper like Jakupovic could be a priority for Bruce.
