Steve Bruce looks set to stay on at Hull City, according to a report in Tuesday’s Daily Mirror (page 53).
Tigers boss is said to be considering his future at the KC Stadium, despite securing a record fourth Championship promotion last month, and a decision is expected upon his return from holiday this weekend.
And the report believes Bruce is set to deliver positive news, having already identified three transfer targets ahead of next season.
Will Grigg is listed as one of those, although City reportedly face a battle with Scottish Champions Celtic to sign the League One top scorer from Wigan Athletic.

Another Northern Irishman, Reading midfielder Oliver Norwood, is said to be another on Bruce’s list, alongside former Hull defender James Chester, currently of West Bromwich Albion.

However, neither player is likely to come easy, with Championship winners Burnley also said to be keen on Norwood and Swansea City reportedly circling around Chester.
Chester only left the KC Stadium last summer
Bruce, 55, took charge of the Tigers four years ago and has led them to two promotions and an FA Cup final in that time.
