According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United could rekindle moves for Brandon Williams and Hamza Choudhury at the end of the season.
The Magpies wanted to sign both players on loan in January, but weren’t able to push deals over the line to help Steve Bruce.
Joe Willock did arrive from Arsenal on loan until the end of the season, using up one of Newcastle’s loan slots – and Bruce isn’t ready to end his interest there.
Bruce could revisit deals for Williams and Choudhury if he receives more encouragement about a potential deal, but Newcastle’s league status may be key here.
Newcastle are in danger of going down to the Championship, with the Magpies’ dismal form and Fulham’s resurgence dragging the Magpies into a real battle.
If Newcastle do go down, neither Williams or Choudhury are likely to fancy heading to St James’ Park, as they’re both above Championship football right now.
Williams has endured a frustrating season at Manchester United with just six minutes of Premier League action, falling down the pecking order following Alex Telles’ move to Old Trafford.

With just three starts in all competitions, the 20-year-old needs action next term, and Bruce could offer him that at Newcastle having missed out on a January deal.
Choudhury will be a more difficult move, as he is vital cover for Wilfred Ndidi in the heart of Leicester City’s midfield, which is exactly why Brendan Rodgers wouldn’t let him go in the first place.
Still, he is 23 now and needs regular playing time, and having played just 226 minutes of league action this term, he may well feel that a move to Newcastle can give him what he needs.
