Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah may end up heading elsewhere.

According to The Sun, Bristol City are interested in Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah once again as they explore the possibility of another loan move.

The Robins wanted to take Nketiah on loan over the summer, but were beaten by Leeds on deadline day as they secured the Arsenal striker for the season.

Bristol City were allegedly ‘furious’ that Nketiah went to Leeds over them, and they have seen the 20-year-old score four times for Marcelo Bielsa so far this term.

However, Nketiah has yet to start a Championship game for Leeds, which has left many fans frustrated, with his seven substitute appearances totalling 162 minutes.

It’s now claimed that Bristol City want to sign Nketiah in January, seemingly hoping that Arsenal recall the striker and send him elsewhere for playing time.

Lee Johnson’s side signed Benik Afobe when Nketiah headed to Leeds, but Afobe is now out for the rest of the season, meaning the new Nketiah interest is no great surprise.

There is plenty of time until the January window, but Leeds may need to give Nketiah some more playing time to be sure that Arsenal won’t recall the talented goalscorer.

Yet with Bielsa sticking to a one-striker system, and standing by Patrick Bamford so far this term, Bristol City may well have renewed hope of finally landing the Arsenal youngster come 2020.
