Crystal Palace could reportedly loan Connor Wickham out, and a number of Championship sides are interested.

According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (4/8; page 67), Bristol City, Reading and Stoke City are all interested in Connor Wickham with Crystal Palace open to offers for the striker this summer.
The 26-year-old has had a terrible run of luck with injuries since arriving at Selhurst Park. He has made 19 Premier League starts across three seasons with the Eagles, and only made six appearances off the bench for Roy Hodgson’s men last year.
The Sun on Sunday (4/8; page 67) reports that Palace are open to offers for the forward, and could even consider loaning him out before the transfer window shuts. And there are several second tier sides interested in offering him a fresh challenge.
The report suggests that the Robins are keen with Lee Johnson hoping to add to his attacking ranks, while the Royals and Potters are also in the race.

If Wickham – who cost Palace £7 million when he joined from Sunderland in 2015 (via BBC Sport) – is able to put his past injury problems behind him, he could be an inspired addition to most Championship squads. And it would be little surprise if a number of the trio’s rivals joined the race before the transfer window did shut.
But with Bristol City flirting with the play-off places during the last two campaigns, you could completely understand why the former Ipswich Town man may find a move to Ashton Gate the most appealing option set to be put on the table.
