Tottenham Hotspur have been named as suitors for Dominik Szoboszlai by BILD, as the January transfer window edges closer.
Szoboszlai has apparently told Red Bull Salzburg that he wants out in January, with Tottenham among the clubs chasing him.
The latest update suggests that ‘half of Europe’ want to sign the Hungarian wonderkid, who has emerged as one of the hottest properties in the continent.
And it seems that his time at Salzburg is now coming to an end, with Jose Mourinho’s side circling.
If Szoboszlai was added to Tottenham’s squad he could be a hugely exciting addition, as he has been in such sparkling form this term.
The 20-year-old, who was hailed as ‘brilliant’ in the list of the Guardian’s top young footballers, is considered one of Europe’s brightest talents, with five goals and nine assists to his name this season in just 14 games.

Szoboszlai would add creativity and a goalscoring threat to Tottenham’s midfield, but Jose Mourinho’s side would surely have to offload players before his arrival.
The likes of Dele Alli and Harry Winks are already struggling for places in a packed Tottenham midfield and they may have to exit before Spurs consider making a move for Szoboszlai.
