Leeds United star Luke Ayling could leave Elland Road in the summer of 2023, according to journalist Graeme Bailey in TEAMtalk.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Ayling ‘is looking likely to leave in the summer’, with the defender out of contract at Leeds in the summer of 2023.
Could Luke Ayling really leave Leeds United?
In our view, it is very likely that Luke Ayling will leave Leeds United at the end of the season.
The former Arsenal prospect is out of contract at Leeds in the summer of 2023.
It is December now, and no new deal is in place yet.
You would think that if two parties wanted the same thing, then a new contract would have been signed by now or at least would have been close to being agreed.

The 31-year-old – described as “a brilliant player to watch” by former Manchester United defender Gary Neville on Sky Sports Premier League (10:47pm, March 18, 2022) – has been on the books of Leeds since 2016 and has been an important player for the team over the years.
However, Ayling has made one start and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Jesse Marsch’s side so far this season, providing one assist in the process.
