The Sun reports in its printed edition on Friday (page 60) that Brighton & Hove Albion will agree a deal for Everton striker Oumar Niasse.

Niasse has yet to feature in a competitive Everton fixture throughout Ronald Koeman’s reign, and spent the second half of last season on loan to Hull City.

The Senegalese was earlier this week rumoured to be signing for Turkish giants Fenerbahce, but he appears to be bound for England’s south coast instead.

According to The Sun, Brighton want Niasse on loan with a view to a permanent deal next summer.

The Seagulls are reportedly set to conclude the signing of FC Zurich striker Raphael Dwamena, but manager, Chris Hughton, said, as quoted by The Daily Mirror (00:04): “We still want to strengthen.”

The Daily Mirror reports that Albion are also close to a deal for £1-million-rated Sweden youth striker Victor Gyokeres from Brommapojkarna.

According to Transfermarkt, Everton paid around £16 million for Niasse 18 months ago, but the former Lokomotiv Moscow striker has failed to score in seven Toffees outings.
