Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly keen on Newcastle United’s Isaac Hayden.

According to The Chronicle, Brighton and Hove Albion want to offer Isaac Hayden an escape route from Newcastle United, and are prepared to pay £10million to sign him.
Hayden, 23, joined Newcastle from Arsenal in the summer of 2016, having spent eight years in the Gunners ranks following a 2008 switch from Southend United.
The holding midfielder was key in the Championship, making 33 league appearances as the Magpies won promotion back to the Premier League, but he lost his place last season, and made just one league start in 2018.
Now, Hayden has decided that he wants to leave Newcastle in favour of a return to the South of England, with the Chelmsford-born anchor man citing family reasons for his desire to leave.
The Chronicle subsequently report that Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in Hayden, and are willing to offer £10million to lure him to the Amex Stadium.

Brighton are pursuing midfielders to offer cover behind Davy Propper and Jack Stephens, with Lille’s Yves Bissouma close to a move – and Hayden could now follow.
A move to the South Coast could be appealing to Hayden, and an extra £10million for Newcastle could well aid their pursuit of winger Andros Townsend, with a switch to the Seagulls making a ton of sense for all parties.
