Brighton and Hove Albion have reportedly agreed a deal to sign the Romanian midfielder.

According to a report from the Sun (live transfer blog, 12:03), Brighton have agreed a deal to sign Viitorul’s young prodigy Tudor Baluta.
The 19-year-old Romanian is a defensive midfielder by trade, but he can also fill in at centre-back.
Despite Baluta’s tender years, he is already relatively experienced, having made 47 senior appearances for Viitorul, although he undoubtedly will be more of a player for the future rather than for the here and now.
The Sun claims that the youngster flew to England for a medical yesterday, and Brighton will pay £2.7 million for his services, before immediately loaning him back to the Romanian club.

Standing at 6ft3 in tall, the 19-year-old is immensely powerful and strong in the air, and seems to be tailor made for the Premier League.
Baluta is a real talent, and he could prove to be a superb signing for the Seagulls, especially for the reported fee of just £2.7 million.
