Wolverhampton Wanderers hold a long-term interest in Marlon Roos-Trujillo but the incoming Brexit restrictions could scupper their attempts to sign the Mainz starlet, as reported by BILD.
With new legislation meaning Premier League clubs will be unable to sign U18 players from outside the UK in the New Year, Wolves may be hit harder than most.

Pedro Neto, Fabio Silva, Bruno Jordao, Leonardo Campana and more all joined Wolves before their 20th birthdays after all.
Roos-Trujillo, meanwhile, is just 17. And, given that he doesn’t turn 18 until August, Wolves will be unable to pursue a deal until the latter stages of the summer once new Brexit restrictions come into force.
BILD claims that the stylish attacking midfielder has been on the club’s radar for some time now.
There is a way to get around the laws, however.
The report adds that Wolves could sign Roos-Trujillo in January and then loan him out to their sister club, the Swiss outfit Grasshopper Zurich, until the fresh-faced German is old enough to earn the requisite work permit.
Roos-Trujillo is due to become a free-agent next summer and Mainz have not given up hope of tying him down to a new contract.
