The Brentford striker is said to be keen on exploring a move to Sheffield United, with the Bees resigned to losing him.

Sheffield United are set to make the Brentford striker, Neal Maupay, their £15 million record signing, according to the Sun.
The newspaper claims Brentford are resigned to losing last season’s 28-goal top scorer, and have reduced their asking price by £7m to facilitate a move.
Aston Villa have also been credited with an interest in Maupay, although the Villans do not appear to be as firmly in the running as Sheffield United.
And Maupay is keen on exploring a switch to the Blades, according to the Sun.
Sheffield United have already broken their transfer record once this summer, signing Luke Freeman in a £6m deal (Sun) from QPR last week.
And the Blades’ business has kicked on since then, with their former defender, Phil Jagielka, returning on a free transfer from Everton.

The Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, is also expected to return to Bramall Lane on loan, and ‘liked’ a tweet suggesting as much on Sunday.
Maupay failed to feature in Brentford’s pre-season friendly win against Wimbledon on Friday, and is said to have removed any reference to the Bees from his Twitter bio.
Would Maupay be worth the money for Sheffield United?
