Watford have also been linked with a move for the striker.

Brentford want an end to the transfer saga involving their star striker Scott Hogan by the end of today, as they grow tired of the continued rumour surrounding their top-scorer.

West Ham and Watford have both been linked with a move for the Championship striker, who has scored 14 goals in 26 appearances for Brentford this season.

West Ham have, according to the Guardian, made a £12.5 million bid for the player this month whilst Watford are also keen. Brentford want £15 million for the player.

Now getwestlondon is reporting that there has not been a fresh approach from West Ham in the past few days, as their interest appears to fade away.

The report claims that Brentford want any deal or agreement done by the end of today. The club have a day off from training today but get preparing for upcoming clashes v Chelsea and Aston Villa on Thursday and Friday – games in which they would like to know whether Hogan is in contention.

The striker has missed the last two Brentford games because of the Premier League interest but has been training as normal with the club this week as a potential move away continues to look problematic.
