Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Ham have all been linked with a move

Reports today are suggesting that Brentford will not be willing to sell striker Scott Hogan for less than their £15 million asking price – with Newcastle United, Aston Villa and West Ham all linked with his signature.

It has been reported by getwestlondon that the Bees will not consider selling the player for less than that price – a fee which has now ruled Reading out of contention.

The striker has been in fine form this season, scoring 13 goals in 25 appearances, which has seen him be linked with these three big clubs.

Aston Villa are after a new striker with Rudy Gestede set for a move to Middlesbrough and Jonathan Kodjia and Jordan Ayew travelling to Gabon to play in the African Cup Of Nations this month.

Newcastle have plenty of striking options already, but appear prepared to continue strengthening their team as they look to win promotion back to the Premier League.

West Ham on the other hand are desperately in need of a new striker – with the summer recruits Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri flopping at the London Stadium.

But all three teams will need to stump up the £15 million if they want to bring him in.
