According to The Sun, Brentford have picked out Charlton Athletic’s Dillon Phillips as the man to replace Arsenal target David Raya.
Raya was left out of Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City amid speculation surrounding his future with the Bees.
It’s claimed that Arsenal want Raya to replace Aston Villa-bound stopper Emiliano Martinez, and are prepared to pay £10million for him.
Brentford have provided Arsenal with something of a boost, having already identified the man they want to replace Raya.
Charlton stopper Phillips impressed in the Championship last season, even if he couldn’t stop the Addicks from suffering relegation.

The 25-year-old wouldn’t have to move to London, and fits the bill for Brentford as a player who has already played in the Championship but still has potential to develop.
With Phillips lined up, Brentford are seemingly willing to let Raya go – and with Martinez off to Villa for £20million, Arsenal may now be able to land his replacement for half the price.
