The Borussia Dortmund defender is a reported transfer target for Celtic.

The Hoops are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund centre-back Neven Subotic, according to German media outlet Fussballeck, as Brendan Rodgers looks to bolster his defensive ranks.
Celtic currently sit comfortably at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, eight points clear of second placed Aberdeen, but they will certainly not be allowed to rest on their laurels with Rodgers at the helm.
The 44-year-old will surely be looking to add quality to his squad at Parkhead this month, and Subotic would certainly add something extra to the Glasgow giant’s back-line.

Fussballeck claim that Rodgers is interested in bringing the 29-year-old to Celtic this month, although he will face competition from Ligue 1 side Saint-Étienne in the race for his signature.

Subotic has played a peripheral role for Dortmund this season, making just five appearances, and with his contract due to expire in the summer, he could be picked up for a bargain fee this month.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, the Serbian possesses the kind of physique that is needed to be a success in Scotland, what with the robust nature of the league, and that combined with his quality would make him an absolutely sensational signing for Celtic, if they do indeed manage to win the race for his signature.
