Vitor Roque reportedly does not fancy a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal or Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea.

According to Sport, Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in signing Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense in the summer transfer window.

The Spanish publication has claimed that Barcelona are keen on the 18-year-old Brazil international forward as well.

However, according to the report, Vitor Roque wants to join Barcelona and does not fancy a move to Arsenal or Chelsea.

The Brazilian has told his agents to get a deal with Barcelona done, according to Sport, who have added that Alexandre Mattos, CEO of Athletico Paranaense, will now hold talks with Barca officials over a €45 million (£38.46 million) fee.

Arsenal and Chelsea should keep tabs on Vitor Roque

In our opinion, Arsenal and Chelsea should keep tabs on Vitor Roque even if he joins Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

Just because the 18-year-old does not want to move to Arsenal or Chelsea now does not mean that the Brazil international may not change his mind later.

Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in the world and are a global brand, and we are not surprised at all that Vitor Roque wants to move to Camp Nou.

However, Arsenal and Chelsea are massive clubs too, and if the forward develops and progresses at Barcelona, then the Gunners and the Blues could come back for him in the future.
