Everton are reportedly pushing for Sporting’s Pedro Delgado.

According to The Mirror, Everton are pushing for a move for Sporting’s Pedro Delgado after Marcel Brands and Marco Silva agreed on targeting his signature.
The Toffees have brought in one new face this summer as Richarlison has arrived in a big-money move from Watford to play down the left, whilst another move is also close.
Barcelona left back Lucas Digne is set to be confirmed as an Everton player with the Toffees agreeing a deal to sign the Frenchman, who could be Leighton Baines’ successor at Goodison Park.
Everton aren’t done there though, and The Mirror report that they are also keen on Sporting talent Pedro Delgado, with set to make their move before the transfer deadline.
It’s claimed that director of football Marcel Brands and manager Marco Silva have cleared a move for Delgado after extensive scouting, with the pair agreeing to target him this summer.
The report even notes that a host of Italian clubs may be keen on Delgado, but he wants to sign for Everton as a move seemingly looks feasible for the Toffees.

Delgado, 21, started out with Sporting before heading to Portimonense and Inter Milan, but returned to Sporting in 2016, and has been playing for their B team ever since.
The midfielder stands at 6ft 2in tall and hit six goals and three assists in 29 games for Sporting B last season, with Everton seemingly feeling that they have identified a real talent after extensive scouting.
