According to the Mirror, Everton’s potential move for Yacine Brahimi could end up costing as much as £33 million.
The winger has been linked with a move to Goodison Park for several weeks as Ronald Koeman continues to build his squad.
The Dutchman has already added one winger to his squad in Yannick Bolasie but appears to be keen on continuing to improve his forward options by making Brahimi his fifth signing of the summer.
The potential switch appeared to be taking a major step forward on deadline day as Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reported that the player was on Merseyside to complete a medical ahead of the transfer.
And now the Mirror have provided an update on the move and how much it could end up costing the Blues.
According to the newspaper, Everton are willing to pay in excess of £25 million for Brahimi, who can play anywhere across the front line.
However, the deal could rise to as much as £33 million with add-ons, which would make him the most expensive signing in the club’s history, eclipsing that Bolasie deal earlier this summer.
