West Ham United and Crystal Palace have reportedly checked on Bradley Dack, but a move currently seems unlikely.

West Ham and Crystal Palace have made checks on Blackburn Rovers talisman Bradley Dack, but the Daily Mail reports that his £18 million price-tag is putting the pair off a summer bid.

The 25-year-old has just completed his first season in the Championship having played a key role in guiding Tony Mowbray’s side out of League One last term.

And while Rovers were unable to make a push for back-to-back promotions, Dack enjoyed an outstanding campaign, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists. Unsurprisingly, it appears that he is attracting Premier League attention.

The Daily Mail reports that both the Hammers and the Eagles are keen on signing Dack, and Blackburn are getting their scouts to look for potential replacements for the attacking midfielder.

However, it appears that he may not be London Stadium or Selhurst Park-bound, as the Mail adds that Blackburn want around £18 million for Dack, and neither club are convinced that he is worth the outlay.

He may not boast any experience at the highest level, but Dack has reached double figures for goals in four of the last five seasons, including 18 during Blackburn’s successful League One campaign.

And while it may be a serious gamble for West Ham or Palace to spend the eight-figure fee on him, it would be no surprise if he did secure a Premier League move this summer and did manage to prove that he was more than worth the money.
