Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are reportedly amongst the group of sides interested in Ryan Fraser.
In a report from The Sun on Sunday (21/4; page 62) that may interest the likes of Tottenham and Newcastle, Bournemouth could decide to sell Ryan Fraser in the summer if they receive a bid of £15 million for the winger.
The Daily Mirror recently suggested that Spurs are keen on the Scotland international, while the Chronicle reported that the Magpies are also interested in the 25-year-old.
Fraser has enjoyed an outstanding season, scoring seven goals and providing 12 assists in the Premier League. No player has set up more goals than the tricky wide-man this term.
But it is because of his form that his asking price appears to be so surprising. The Sun on Sunday (21/4; page 62) reports that the Cherries could allow Fraser to leave for just £15 million, with Swansea City’s Daniel James being eyed as a potential replacement.
If Fraser could replicate that form after a move, £15 million would quickly look like a serious bargain. The two players alongside him in the Premier League assist charts – Christian Eriksen and Eden Hazard – could perhaps command fees of between five and 10 times what Fraser will apparently cost.
He may not be on their levels, but he is getting results this season. And if he is available for £15 million, then Newcastle or Spurs need to act quickly as there is definitely the potential for that to be an inspired piece of business this summer.
