The Reds winger has been sensational this season but with the January transfer window comes the threat of the club being tempted by offers.
Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley has emerged as a transfer target for Bournemouth, according to a report.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a superb first half of the 2018-19 season for the Reds, notching up seven goals and seven assists from 26 games in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
It’s little surprise that a player in such form and with plenty of years ahead of him would be linked with clubs in the Premier League, with speculation increasing in volume ahead of the January transfer window.
Already Lolley has been linked with Crystal Palace and Watford, as per the Daily Mail, while fellow Championship side West Bromwich Albion is also reported by the same outlet as monitoring the Forest ace.
Now, according to Teamtalk, Eddie Howe’s Cherries are believed to have thrown their name in the hat, allegedly seeking midfield reinforcements following the loss of Lewis Cook to a long-term injury.
The report adds that Bournemouth are looking to tempt the City Ground side with an offer of £10m for Lolley, who joined the Reds from Huddersfield in January 2018 for a fee reported by Transfermarkt as being around £449,000.
It looks as though it’ll be a tense transfer window for Forest fans, as their club is harbouring real hopes of a playoff tilt, so Lolley’s departure would be a huge blow for the NG2 outfit – will the club take the money or hang on to their asset in hope of making the Premier League?
