According to The Mirror (04/07, p43), Bournemouth are now rivalling Aston Villa for the signing of Chelsea talent Valentino Livramento.
Livramento is only 18 but has been around Chelsea first-team picture having shown real potential at Stamford Bridge.
Primarily a right-sided wing back, Livramento has even played as a centre back in his earlier years. Now, he’s described as a ‘rampaging’ wing back with pace and quality going forward – what a change.
Chelsea have high hopes for Livramento after 10 assists in all competitions last season – but they could end up losing the teenager.
Livramento has just one year left on his contract at Chelsea, and The Mirror note that Aston Villa, Brighton and Southampton have all expressed an interest in a deal.
Now though, Scott Parker is offering a different solution; that Livramento signs a new deal at Chelsea and then heads out on loan to Bournemouth.

Parker is a former Chelsea player and may hope for a favour from the Blues, who would surely rather keep Livramento and then loan him out rather than sell him.
Ultimately though, much will depend on whether Livramento wants to sign a new deal; if he doesn’t, Villa will be in a strong position to bring the right back to Villa Park.
