Celtic are continuing to pursue Bournemouth’s Lys Mousset.

According to the Daily Mail, Bournemouth have rejected Celtic’s offer to swap midfielder Olivier Ntcham for striker Lys Mousset.
The Bhoys are in the market for another striker, with Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths needing some support in the final third.
Neil Lennon will have his sights set on a number of players, but the Daily Mail reported last month that Celtic want Bournemouth’s £10million-rated striker Mousset.
Now, it’s claimed that Celtic have offered Bournemouth a swap deal involving midfielder Ntcham, but the Cherries have rejected the offer.
Celtic may therefore have to pay up the £10million Bournemouth want for the French attacker, meaning the Bhoys would need to break their transfer record to secure his signature.
Mousset, 23, was prolific with Le Havre as 14 goals in the 2015-16 season earned him a move to Bournemouth, but he’s struggled for consistent playing time under Eddie Howe.

Mousset has scored just five goals in 68 games for Bournemouth, and whilst he may be keen to move up to Glasgow for first-team football, Bhoys fans may be unsure about signing a player with such a poor recent record.
As for Ntcham, it seems that Celtic are ready to cash in on the midfielder, and whilst Marseille and Porto are keen, Bournemouth seemingly aren’t.
