Bournemouth are reportedly interested in signing Ryan Mason from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Bournemouth are preparing a £4 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason, according to The Mirror.
It has been reported that Tottenham could allow Mason to leave in the summer transfer window after the midfielder fell down the pecking order during the 2015-16 campaign.
The Mirror has also reported that Spurs are interested in signing striker Callum Wilson from Bournemouth, but the 24-year-old is not their main target.

“Mason’s name is understood to have cropped up in talks between Spurs and Bournemouth over striker Callum Wilson,” states the report in The Mirror.
“Spurs are keen on Wilson, but he is believed to be one of a number of frontmen behind Marseille’s Belgium international Michy Batshuayi on their list of striker targets.”

Mason enjoyed a successful season in 2014-15, but injuries and competition for places saw him restricted to just eight Premier League starts this past season.
The England international is clearly not guaranteed a place in the Spurs starting lineup, and it is unlikely that he will be able to push himself into the first XI next season.
Perhaps instead of leaving Tottenham permanently, Mason could try to join Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal.
The 24-year-old scored one goal and created 10 chances in 22 Premier League appearances for Tottenham during the 2015-16 campaign.
The midfielder had a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 60%, and won 11 headers, six dribbles and 18 tackles.
