Both Bournemouth and West Ham United want Chelsea to sanction a January loan move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to the Sun.

The newspaper claims the pair are also seeking an option to sign Loftus-Cheek outright next summer, believing they can offer the 22-year-old the regular football he needs to win back his England place.

He has played just 12 times for Chelsea this season, from which he has scored an impressive six goals.

It follows an impressive campaign on loan to Crystal Palace, which led to a place in England’s 2018 World Cup squad.

And joining a club like Bournemouth or West Ham could have a similar impact on the Londoner’s plans for Euro 2020.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek of England looks on during a England training session at St Georges Park on September 9, 2018 in Burton-upon-Trent, England.

Whether he would choose either the Cherries or Hammers, given the chance, remains to be seen.

Although West Ham’s capital location could have a significant bearing on any decision made by Loftus-Cheek.

Both clubs, Bournemouth and West Ham, have enjoyed bright starts to the new Premier League season, and sit just two points apart in eighth- and 11-place, respectively.
