Dortmund have sold Christian Pulisic to Chelsea and want a replacement, with long-term Tottenham target Zaha on their shortlist.

German newspaper SportBild have claimed that Borussia Dortmund are looking to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfreid Zaha to replace the loss of Christian Pulisic, after the American ace joined Chelsea.

Dortmund received a whopping £56million for USA international Pulisic, in a move that will see the versatile attacker join Maurizio Sarri’s side in the summer.

Despite Pulisic looking like he will remain at Dortmund until the end of the season, Bild report that Dortmund are already on the lookout for his successor and 26-year-old Zaha has been added to their shortlist.

The nine-time Ivory Coast international has not been at his best this season, scoring only three goals and creating four more in his 21 league and cup outings – but last season he scored nine and created five in 29 games.

A whole host of Premier League clubs have been linked with the former Manchester United star, including the likes of Tottenham Hotspur – but the Standard claimed Spurs were quoted a figure of £70million for the Palace star.

Dortmund have also targeted Eden Hazard’s younger brother Thorgan as a possible Pulisic replacement as he shines for Borussia Monchengladbach. But Zaha could well be packing his bags and moving to Dortmund before the 31st.
