Borussia Dortmund have registered interest in Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

German giants Borussia Dortmund are planning to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can when his contract runs out next summer.
Can has a contract with the Reds till 2018, and will be free to begin negotiations with foreign clubs in January.
The 23-year-old has held contract talks with Liverpool, but having failed to agree to a deal it seems he will leave the club in the summer.

Juventus and Manchester City have already been linked with a move for the German international, and the latest club to have registered interest is Dortmund, according to reports from The Times.
Dortmund want a holding midfielder next season and sees Can as the perfect player to carry out the role.
Can’s agent, Reza Fazeli, represents Dortmund midfielders Mahmoud Dahoud and Nuri Sahin.

The midfielder has been in terrific form for the Reds this season. The no 23 has made 15 appearances, including 14 starts, scored three goals and assisted twice.
Klopp is eager to retain his services beyond next summer, but that possibility looks bleak at the moment.
Liverpool will have Naby Keita in the squad next summer, having agreed a £55 million deal with RB Leipzig already.
