Leon Dajaku has his heart set on leaving Bayern Munich on loan this summer, with Sheffield United interested in taking him to the Premier League, according to Sport1.

Rhian Brewster is not the only fresh-faced goal-machine in Chris Wilder’s sights it seems.

Like Liverpool’s Champions League-winning wonder-kid, Dajaku is understandably finding first-team football difficult to come by at one of the biggest clubs in the game – a Bayern side who took Jurgen Klopp’s European crown in August as part of a stunning treble.

Dajaku, a prolific goal-scorer at youth level, made just two Bundesliga appearances under Hansi Flick last season.

With Robert Lewandowski in the form of his life and seemingly immune to even niggling injuries or knocks, Sport1 claims that the Germany youth star is aiming to leave the Allianz Arena on loan and prove himself away from the microscope of Munich.

Sheffield United, according to Goal, are one of a number of interested parties, alongside Swansea City, Torino, Utrecht and a Sassuolo side who create chances aplenty thanks to Roberto di Zerbi’s free-flowing gameplan.

But the Blades will be hoping that Chris Wilder’s remarkable track record when it comes to helping players realise their potential plays to their advantage.

Dean Henderson, during two seasons on loan at Bramall Lane, returned recently to Manchester United with designs of taking David de Gea’s shirt, after all.

Dajaku rose through the ranks at a Stuttgart side who also developed Bayern teammates Serge Gnabry and Joshua Kimmich, with the Bundesliga’s official website comparing him to Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus.
