Swansea City look set to sell Wilfried Bony to Galatasaray on transfer deadline day in a deal worth around £2m, reports Wales Online.

Manager Graham Potter is keen to get the striker’s considerable wages off the bill at the Liberty Stadium following an injury-plagued second spell with the Swans.

Besiktas and Fenerbahce have also shown interest in Bony, but Gala look set to be the Turkish club to win the race to sign the Ivorian – who Potter revealed has recently made a surprise early return to training.

The exit of the 29-year-old will in turn allow the South Wales side to try and complete the loan signing of Real Madrid youngster Dani Gomez.

Contract issues at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu means that despite impressing in the youth ranks Gomez is likely to leave Madrid this summer.

It therefore looks like it could be a busy final day for Potter and Swansea as they look to make some final adjustments to the squad.
