Bersant Celina has a big future at Manchester City but it appears he could aim to enhance his reputation with a loan at Bolton Wanderers first.

That Bolton Wanderers managed to survive the mid-season exit of star man Zach Clough and earn promotion back to the Championship is testament to manager Phil Parkinson’s helpful ability to make a team greater than the sum of it’s parts.
However, if The Trotters are to ensure their return to the second tier is a successful one, Parkinson will know that he must find a way to replace the goals and incisive creativity of Clough, who earned the club £3 million when he moved to Nottingham Forest on the winter Deadline Day, per the Nottingham Post.

And, according to Bolton News, the club may have found an ideal replacement. The report claims that Manchester City youngster Bersant Celina has held talks over a season-long loan at the Lancashire club, even posting a photo of the Macron Stadium on his official Instagram account.
The 20-year-old is held in high regard at the Etihad but it appears they believe he must serve his apprenticeship elsewhere before fighting for a place in Pep Guardiola’s senior squad.
Guardiola reportedly sees Celina as one for the future
The Bolton News add that FC Twente enquired about taking Celina on loan for a second successive season after an impressive loan during 2016/17 but City would rather the versatile playmaker enhance his experience of English football.
So far, he’s only played two games in City colours, setting up a goal for Sergio Aguero on his debut, a 3-1 home defeat to title-chasing Leicester City in February 2016.
And that excellent spell in the Eredivisie last season, comprising of five goals and four assists, suggests that Celina has the vision, technical ability and end product to provide some extra cutting edge to Bolton’s attack.
