Celtic are reportedly interested in Bolton Wanderers youngster Luca Connell.

It has been reported that Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic have made an official approach to sign Connell from Bolton in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Trotters are under no pressure to sell the 18-year-old, and that the youngster will not be sold for a training fee but for a price that Bolton’s administrators will be satisfied with due to the 12-month extension to Connell’s scholarship contract.
Long-term signing for Celtic
Connell, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, is a very talented and promising young player, but he is one for the future and is unlikely to make an immediate impact at Celtic.

The 18-year-old has progressed well for Bolton, and his performances for the Trotters in the Championship this past season were very encouraging.
If the teenager joins Celtic in the summer transfer window, then he will probably end up being part of the club’s youth team for a year or two.
