There is said to have been a late twist in the Celtic player’s future, which could benefit Bolton Wanderers.

Bolton Wanderers have enquired about signing Jack Hendry from Celtic, according to Sky Sports.
Bolton, who were saved from liquidation less than a week ago, made a flurry of signings ahead of Monday’s 5pm deadline.
But it is possible there could be more to come at the University of Bolton Stadium, with clubs allowed extra time to finalise moves if a deal sheet is submitted in time, and the out-of-favour Celtic defender could be one.
Hendry had been mentioned as a possible makeweight in Greg Taylor’s transfer from Kilmarnock to Celtic.
But neither the 24-year-old nor his Bhoys teammate, Calvin Miller, will be now heading to Rugby Park, according to Sky Sports.

Hendry should be familiar with the Greater Manchester area, having been on Wigan Athletic’s books between 2015 and 2017.
Celtic paid £1.2 million to bring him back to his native Glasgow from Dundee 18 months ago, according to Transfermarkt, but he has only played 26 times since then.
