Everton youngster Antony Evans is reportedly on the radar of Blackpool.

Blackpool have made an approach for Everton striker Antony Evans, according to Sky Sports (Transfer Live blog, 16:19, Thursday, January 31, 2019).

It has been reported that Blackpool want to sign the 20-year-old striker on loan on January transfer deadline day for the rest of the season.

Good signing for Blackpool?

Evans has not made a single appearance for the Everton first team in a competitive match, but the 20-year-old is a good and promising young player.

Blackpool are challenging for the League One playoffs, and the 20-year-old will be a good signing for them in the short term.

Evans could also do with a loan spell at Blackpool, where he would get some decent playing time in a competitive environment in a very tough domestic league.

While the youngster has been playing well for the Everton Development team, it is time for the 20-year-old to start looking forward and progress, and a loan move to Blackpool will help in his development.
