The Middlesbrough winger could arrive at Blackburn Rovers alongside Ben Brereton of Nottingham Forest.

According to the Daily Mirror’s live blog (Tuesday 28th August, 15:51), Blackburn Rovers are trying to re-sign Harry Chapman on loan from Middlesbrough – despite their plan to land Nottingham Forest’s Ben Brereton in a £7 million deal.
Chapman spent last season borrowed by Blackburn, who are said to have tried for a permanent transfer ahead of the August 9th deadline.
But the Daily Mirror reports that Middlesbrough are now ready to part with the 20-year-old winger, provided they can sign a replacement first.
Brereton, who it is claimed Blackburn are taking on a loan to buy deal from Nottingham Forest, also plays in Chapman’s position, although he is capable of operating as a central striker if required.

Chapman has also had loan spells at Barnsley and Sheffield United as well as Blackburn, winning promotion each time.
Blackburn have already made seven new signings since their return to the Championship, where Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest are also competing this season.
