Danny Fox has played just four times for Nottingham Forest so far this season.
According to a report in the Nottingham Post, Blackburn Rovers are in the hunt to sign Nottingham Forest defender Danny Fox.
Blackburn are on the look-out for a new left-back, following the departure of Marcus Olsson to Derby County yesterday.
Olsson had been a key part of Paul Lambert’s starting line up at Ewood Park over the early part of the season, and his move has left a big void in Rovers’ squad.
Lambert has now turned his attentions to Fox, as he looks to bolster his defensive options.
Fox has a vast amount of experience at Championship level, but he has fallen out of favour at Forest more recently.
The 29-year-old has played just four times this season, and he has not made a competitive appearance since the middle of October.
Forest are reportedly willing to listen to offers for the left-back, and a move to Blackburn could go through before next week’s transfer deadline day.
