Blackburn Rovers fans will be hoping for some new arrivals at the club this month.
Reports emanating from France today suggest that Blackburn are in talks with Ligue 1 outfit Rennes over the possibility of signing defender Dimitri Cavaré, according to French media outlet L’Equipe.
Rovers are currently embroiled in a relegation battle, and Owen Coyle is reportedly keen on bolstering his squad throughout the course of the transfer window.

The 21-year-old right-back is highly regarded in his homeland, and is considered as a modern full-back in every sense, with his impressive athleticism being a key feature of his playing style.
The Lancashire outfit have shipped 40 goals in 25 Championship outings so far this term – the second highest tally in the division, and Coyle will be desperate to address that worrying statistic, as his side head into the second half of their campaign.
And the signing of Cavare would be a good start.

And L’Equipe report that Rennes are willing to allow him to leave the club, after an injury at the start of the campaign hampered his progress.
He joined the French club in a deal worth around €3 million (£2.6 million), so they will likely be looking recoup somewhere close to that amount for the player.
