Birmingham City are reportedly interested in signing the Feyenoord defender.

The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and that is why the Dutch club are looking to listen to offers for the defender.
The club want to ensure that they don’t lose Nelom on a Bosman at the end of the season.

Nelom has won two international caps for his country, and represented Holland’s Under-20 and Under-21 levels.
He has been a regular member for the Eredivise club in recent seasons, and took part in Feyenood’s Champions League defeat to Manchester City in September.

Steve Cotterill, the Birmingham manager, could look to strengthen his options on left-back area, and Nelom could be a decent addition to the squad.
He is open to a move to England, and the Birmingham manager is keen on signing him this month.
Birmingham are struggling in the Championship this season, and find themselves second bottom in the league, just above Sunderland.
