The former West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City striker could resurface at Birmingham City.

Birmingham City have invited the former West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City striker, Saido Berahino, for a trial, according to the Sun.
Berahino was sacked by Stoke in May, having been found guilty of drink-driving.
His contract termination came just two-and-a-half years after Stoke paid Birmingham’s local rivals, West Brom, £12 million to sign him.
The Burundi international, who won caps for England at Under-21 level, only scored five goals in 56 games for Stoke.

But the new Birmingham manager, Pep Clotet, thinks Berahino could prove ‘a steal’, according to the Sun.
And the newspaper claims the Blues are hoping the 25-year-old will join them for pre-season training in the next few days.
Birmingham sold their top scorer from the previous campaign, Che Adams, to Southampton last week.

Should Berahino earn a contract with Blues, he could face both of his former employers, West Brom and Stoke, in next season’s Championship.
