According to reports from The Times, Birmingham City are hopeful of signing former Chelsea skipper John Terry on a free transfer.
Terry has become a free agent following the expiry of his Chelsea contract, has been reportedly targeted by Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Bournemouth.
The former England defender is unlikely to join a Premier League club as neither West Brom nor Bournemouth can offer him regular starts.
