The Championship side are hopeful of securing a deal for the Swansea winger.

Wayne Routledge celebrates scoring the first goal for Swansea
The Sun recently reported that Birmingham City would be willing to pay a fee of around £3 million for the player as they look to take advantage of a squad reshuffle at the Premier League strugglers.
However, the BBC are reporting that Birmingham are losing faith over a deal.
They report that Birmingham believe Swansea are not in fact open to selling the 32-year-old this month.

Routledge, who has previously played for Birmingham’s bitter rivals Aston Villa, has been a regular in the Swansea team this season so his departure would certainly be something of a surprise.
Birmingham therefore might be right in their thinking, that he is not likely to be up for sale in South Wales.
Gianfranco Zola would be wise to consider other options.
